Invitation to IOM Open Charity Meeting

On Sunday, 5th January 2025, HCMYC is hosting its annual Charity IOM Open Meeting. The sailing will take place on our water, the Rick Pond, which is adjacent to our clubhouse located in Home Park in the grounds of Hampton Court Palace.
We would like to invite IOM sailors to come and join us for this meeting, which is always well supported and has raised over £2500 for Momentum Children’s Charity our chosen charity. https://www.momentumcharity.org

There will be homemade soup at lunchtime, hot drinks will be available throughout the day.
There is plenty of free parking adjacent to the clubhouse, which will be open, heated and available all day.
If you are unable to attend, but would still like to support our charity, donations can be made to the club account, Sort Code 40-20-26, Account Number 01143476, with reference “charity”.
We look forward to welcoming as many of you as possible for a good day’s sailing.
The formal Notice of Race is attached.

About our chosen charity, “Momentum”
“Momentum” is a local registered charity established in 2004 which aims to help children (up to the age of 17) undergoing treatment for cancer in Surrey and South West London. “Momentum” supports not only these children but the whole family, parents, siblings and grandparents. By establishing close links to the families they can identify ways to help that fit their specific needs. Support continues as long as the family needs it. https://www.momentumcharity.org
