Since the return to racing in 2021 you may have noticed that the posting of results has been very patchy and in different places. This has come about because some bugs appeared in the spreadsheet system we used to use in the past and Leen Buurman has kindly been working hard to set up a new result system using the Sailwave software widely used in full size sailing and also by other radio yachting clubs. However, this has been no small task and it has taken a while to get fully operational. Apart from the technicalities, decisions were also needed on the structure of our series.

The new system has now been implemented and it shows where people stand in the various series at any one time. Leen has also found a way to integrate Google calendar, so that clicking on any particular date in the calendar will take you via a link to the results for that day – it has surely been worth the wait!

To find the results for a particular day, go to the Racing Programme and Results page and click on the date required and this will provide a link to the Sailwave results for that day.

Each of the following classes will be run in 2 series, January to June and July to December:

Wednesday/Saturday/Sunday  A Boats
Wednesday/Saturday/Sunday  Marbleheads
Wednesday/Saturday/Sunday  IOMs
Wednesday/Saturday/Sunday  10 Raters

Thursday IOMs
 
The scoring system that we use only allows each skipper to have 2 sail numbers in each class, so if you race a boat with a different number, its results won’t count.
